In preparation for the 9th edition of the world’s largest water event, to be held in Senegal from 22 to 27, March 2022, we have the pleasure of informing you that the second Stakeholders Meeting of the 9th World Water Forum will be organized in Diamniadio (Senegal) on 14 and 15 October 2021.
This second and last major preparatory meeting will be an opportunity to mobilize political and thematic stakeholders by creating a bridge between the Thematic content of the Forum and the Political Process.
The Stakeholders Meeting will promote political debates on the central and transversal themes to be discussed in the Forum, enabling the coordination between the work accomplished in the past months by the Thematic Working Groups with the four main Political Segments (Ministerial, Parliamentarian, Local and Regional Authorities and River Basins).
A detailed program and logistical information will be available in the coming weeks. We would like to kindly ask you to save the date in your calendars.
En préparation de la 9ème édition du plus grand événement mondial de l'eau, qui se tiendra au Sénégal du 22 au 27 mars 2022, nous avons le plaisir de vous informer que la deuxième Réunion des Parties Prenantes du 9ème Forum Mondial de l'Eau sera organisée à Diamniadio ( Sénégal) les 14 et 15 octobre 2021. Cette deuxième et dernière grande réunion préparatoire sera l'occasion de mobiliser les acteurs politiques et thématiques en créant un pont entre le contenu thématique du Forum et le Processus Politique. La réunion des parties prenantes favorisera les débats politiques sur les thèmes centraux et transversaux à discuter dans le Forum, permettant la coordination entre le travail accompli au cours des derniers mois par les groupes de travail thématiques avec les quatre principaux segments politiques (ministériel, parlementaire, local et régional autorités et bassins fluviaux).
